In preprimary the student ‘Learns Through Play’ to make learning interesting for the growing and easily bored mind. Kindergartens provide an environment for children to learn how to interact with others, and to prepare them for formal education at Primary school. Activities include learning language – written and oral – and numbers, development of personal and social skills, games, music, and outdoor play.
At age of at least 5 after graduating from PrePrimary of 2 to 3 years, the student begins Basic Education (teaching PSLE syllabus).

Primary education, normally starting at age five to seven, is a four-year foundation stage (Primary 1 to 4) and a three-year orientation stage (Primary 5 to 7). Primary Does to standard 7 where the students take their PSLE
The foundation stage is the first stage of formal schooling. The four years, from primary 1 to 4, provide a foundation in English, Science is taught from Primary 3 (age 9) onwards. All pupils advance to the orientation stage after Primary 4, where they can be streamed according to the pupil's ability.
After six years of Primary education, students will have to sit for the national Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) on the 7th year.[20] Students will then proceed to Leaders secondary school

At secondary the student will take 5 years to graduate with an O-LEVEL at IGCSE. Secondary is divided into lower secondary (2 years) and upper secondary (3 years). Each student at lower secondary the student studies subjects in different genre whilst searching for their cores, strengths, talents and passions for 2 years. The last 3 years the student is in Upper secondary where they do their general subjects but with a mandatory skill/vocational subject that they will graduate with that skill when they complete. At the end of general, students take the national matriculation exam. Their scores are used for their college applications.
Vocational subject is more job focused and incorporates apprenticeships as well as school learning. This path ends with competence-based qualification with their IGCSE.
The uniqueness of this HIISES system of Leaders Schools is that the student graduates with a lifetime skill that they can start to use for livelihood should they not continue with formal education to college and university.
